Singita Sweni lodge was wholly inspired by the immense African sky, and takes inspiration from the earth. Sweni Lodge is situated on the edge of the Sweni River, providing a forested haven far from the noise of the world.

Expressing a distinctly African style, Sweni is a combination of dark wood, infused by the colours of the earth… including deep greens and multi-shades of avocado. This lodge boasts six luxurious suites that offer the ultimate luxury in a wild setting that offers time for reflection in the shade of its many trees.

The essence of Sweni is elaborate simplicity, dictated to by the Singita philosophy of ‘touching the earth lightly’ – therefore every effort is made to preserve and celebrate this beautiful environment.

* Sweni can accommodate 12 guests in six suites.
* The luxury suites have floor-to-ceiling glass walls, luxurious bathrooms, indoor and outdoor showers, an expansive living area, mini bar and fridge, room safe and private wooden leisure decks with a day bed.
* All suites are air-conditioned and also offer the option of ceiling fans.
* Rooms have direct dial telephones.
* The main lodge boasts lounge and timber deck dining areas with views of the bush & Sweni river, a bar area, a lounge area (complete with fireplace), a swimming pool and a wine cellar.
* Children under 10 years old can be accommodated if the lodge is booked on an exclusive use basis.
