Camping Safaris

Kruger Camping Safaris, offer a up close and personal experience with all the wildlife, birdlife and insects of the African bushveld.

The itineraries that we offer are dedicated camping safaris, with the occasional night in a private lodge. Camping Safaris are aimed more towards the budget end of the market but on saying we do offer some mid-range camping itineraries that incorporate private concession within the Kruger National Park and surrounds.

The vehicle and group size will depend largely on the safari that you have requested. Safari vehicles for small 6 seater's to larger overland trucks that cater up to 22 people.

Wolhuter Tented Safari

Duration: 4 Days / 3 Nights.
Departure: Scheduled.
Highlights: Tucked away within the African bush, in the southern section of the world renowned Kruger National Park, is this private camping concession, from which we base our Wolhuter Tented Safari Tour. This back-to-nature safari allows our clients to get 'closer' to the bush - at night with the sounds of hyena and lion not far from camp, and the night air filled with the buzz of innumerable insects, fireside stories take on an entirely 'other world' experience. Our Wolhuter Safari is an adventure not to be missed!
Accommodation: Tented camps.

Kruger Adventure

Departure: Scheduled departure dates.
Duration: 4 Days/ 3 nights.
Highlights: Try to spot predators on a night safari, Get a dance lesson at the Mafunyani Cultural Village, Explore the park on foot, Learn to track game, Experience a traditional African barbecue.
Accommodation Style: Lodge (1 nt), camping with facilities (2 nts).

Swaziland & Kruger
