Transportation;
On this Safari transportation to and from Johannesburg is done in a luxury air-conditioned mini-bus. The drive to the park is via the Panorama Route and include the sights of God’s Window, Pilgrim’s Rest, Graskop and some magnificent Waterfalls. The second option is to fly to the Kruger Park and then take a short transfer to the Lodge.

Overnight Accommodation;
Lion Sands River Lodge is the soul of Lion Sands Private Game Reserve and has been built on the banks of the Sabie River, positioned on a site with trees dating back 800 years. Facing due east, the lodge catches the sun as it rises over the Kruger National Park. The rooms at River Lodge offer respite and protection from the Lowveld heat. The interior is a tranquil cream and beige haven, cool in the summer, cosy in the winter.

Game Activities;
Game drives are conducted in specially adapted, open 4x4 safari vehicles, maintained to the highest standards to ensure maximum comfort while driving in the Park. Bush Walks are done by highly trained professional field guides equipped with knowledge on virtually every living species in the Park. This is the experience of a lifetime.

Included in this safari;

The cost of the Kruger Par Conservation Fees are included in the rates indicated for this safari.

Arrival Program;
Guests are transferred depending on the Fly-in or Drive-in options they choose. Arrive at the lodge and proceed with check in. Depart on afternoon / evening game drive and then return to the lodge for dinner before retiring.

Daily Safari Program;
Depart early for morning game drive followed by breakfast. Thereafter guests have the option of a bush walk followed by a break for lunch. Depart on afternoon game drive and then return to the lodge for dinner before retiring.

Departure Program;
Depart early for morning game drive followed by breakfast. Then guests are transferred depending on the Fly-in or Drive-in options they choose. Program ends.
