Days 1-2: Sabi Sand Game Reserve
- On arrival at Johannesburg International Airport, pick up your rental car and self drive to the Sabi Sand Game Reserve.
- Your Timbavati Self Drive Safari has begun.
- At Chitwa Chitwa Safari Lodge experience the real Africa, nothing compares to the exhilaration of a game drive through the bush in an open-topped Land Rover, guided by our staff whose passion for the area is infectious.
- Tracking the often-beautiful, sometimes-rare wildlife is exciting, but never more so than when it is one of the elusive Big Five.
- They share the ragged bushveld with cheetah, hyena, wild dog, zebra, wildebeest, baboon and antelope, in a primordial alliance that captures the heart of the Sabi Sand Game Reserve.
- Estimated travelling time from Johannesburg: ± 5 hours (travelling at speed limits, no sight seeing).
- Sabi Sand Lodge.

Days 3-4: Timbavati Game Reserve
- After your morning game drive and breakfast, depart for the Timbavati Game Reserve.
- This a more leisurely drive with a few scenic points for you to take in.
- Umlani Bush Camp is an exclusive rustic lodge accommodating only 16 guests in en-suite reed and thatch rondavels.
- Early morning and evening game drives are in open four wheel drive vehicles accompanied by experienced rangers and trackers.
- Umlani Bush Camp, walks, day and night drives give you the complete wildlife experience. You'll become involved with game big and small, the prolific birdlife and be fascinated by the diverse trees, flora and fauna.
- Estimated travelling time from Sabi Sand: ± 2 - 2.5 hours (travelling at a leisurely pace).

Days 5-6: Hazyview (Mpumalanga)
- After your morning game drive and breakfast, depart for the Hazyview region of Mpumalanga known as the Mpumalanga Scenic Route.
- Chestnut Country Lodge is in the beautiful Kiepersol district, Hazyview in Mpumalanga and boasts magnificent mountain and valley views, together with luxury accommodation and fine dining at Chestnut Country Lodge.
- Chestnut Country Lodge is ideally situated to all the major scenic attractions of Mpumalanga, namely Blyde River Canyon, 3 Rondawels, Bourkes Luck Potholes, Gods Window, the historic mining town of Pilgrims Rest as well as the various and beautiful waterfalls in and around Sabie.
- Estimated travelling time from Sabi Sand: ± 2 - 2.5 hours (travelling at a leisurely pace).
- Hazyview Lodge.

Days 7: Tour Ends.
- Spend the morning doing some last-minute shopping and sightseeing before your journey to Johannesburg International Airport.
- Estimated travelling time from Johannesburg: 4 hours (travelling within the speed limits), 430kms.
